My hands were hardly holding a camera when everything started. Every event was worth of photographing for me. Firstly I was occupied with nature motives, street photography and photojournalism. After a while, portrait photography started to interest me more and more. Soon the camera became my second eye and my perception of surroundings changed completely. I felt how my sense for a fellow man sharpened – his thoughts became clear and understandable for me and the feelings became more alive than ever. Through comprehending of my own work, I found concepts that mark and lead my work:
Portrait - the artistic depiction of a person, usually with focus on his individuality. My goal is to include individual characteristics, thoughts, emotions of person that was portrayed.
Style - defined by the selection and use of expressive design resources of each artist in his work. The concept that represents photographers unique shooting style, image processing, photo book and album designing... The style is modern, fresh and timeless.
Aesthetics - philosophical discipline that examines beautiful and human attitude towards the beautiful. Together with maximum profession of storytelling, aesthetics of a photograph is extremely important too.
Unique – only one, original act or subject. The style of my photographs and the photo processing is unique. |
